Top ten errors in funding applications

Top  ten errors in funding applications

  1. Ignore elegibility criteria
  2. Ask for too much money [or too little]: be realistic
  3. Ramble: be concise
  4. Use lots of jargon and buzz words.
  5. 'Wall of words' ask someone outside the organisation to read the application.
  6. Add sums correctly: late additions muddle the total.
  7. Talk to the funder
  8. Tailor the application to the funder
  9. Assume the funder knows all about you
  10. What difference will it make?
